Faculty of Humanities and Social Science

Background

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Dusit University was established under the Teacher College Act 1975. In 1980, the Faculty offered a 4-year bachelor’s degree programs, namely Thai language, English language, social studies, and art studies. Later, more curricula have been developed to cover a wider area of study in the field of humanities and social sciences.

At present, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences bachelor’s degree programs in the following disciplines:

  1. Bachelor of Arts (B.Ed.):
    1. Thai Language
    2. English
    3. Business English
    4. Industrial and Organizational Psychology
    5. Library and Information Science
    6. Language literacy and Communication
    7. Chinese for Service Career
  2. Bachelor of Education Program (B.Ed.):
    1. Art Education

Vision

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences focuses on teaching and learning to create human beings who are complete in knowledge, skills, morals, and ethics in accordance with their fields of study, and acquire SDU spirit as well as global competence to become good citizens of the world.

  4. Maintain and disseminate language, arts and culture.
