This initial meeting will include a 30-minute session with the Suan Dusit community, followed by meetings with the Dean, Directors of Institutes/Offices/Divisions, Executives, and personnel from independent units, in that order. Subsequently, from July 15 to 25, 2024, the management team will meet with the Faculties/Schools, Education Centers, and Campuses.
The President stated, “I must thank everyone for creating today’s atmosphere, with the cooperation of the Suan Dusit community evident since before the presidential selection process. You all have been conveying various information, leading up to the presidential selection on May 8, 2024, the approval from the University Council on May 31, 2024, and most recently, on June 28, 2024, when the University Council approved my appointment as Acting President and the appointment of the Vice Presidents, effective from July 10, 2024, onwards.”
The administration has had to evolve in accordance with the rapidly changing global situation. Therefore, in the management process, it has become necessary to adjust and merge certain positions to keep pace with these ongoing changes, as follows:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanasuek Nichanong serves as the Vice President for Administration, Research, and Innovation at Suan Dusit University. He also leads the Smart Safe Agriculture Transformation Project, known as Hom Kajorn Farm. Drawing from his diverse and significant experiences, he has developed a prestigious national-level leadership program: the Sustainable High-Level Leadership Development Program (SHLDP), also known as The Pinnacle Leadership Program by L-NET (PLP). His varied roles underscore his pivotal contribution to the university’s administrative, research, and innovative endeavors.
Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-nate, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, oversees the following units:

(3) Faculties/Schools/Graduate School
(4) Office of Academic Promotion and Registration,

Therefore, “technology”, both digital and AI, must play a crucial role in student development. “SDU’s New Academic Look” aims to increase the impact of projects/curricula, ensure new generation students have competencies that align with future needs and further develop human capital (faculty) and increase knowledge exchange both internally and internationally.
Associate Professor Pacharee Suankaew, Vice President for Student Affairs, oversees the following units: (1) Student Development Division, (2) Educational and Career Guidance Information Center, and (3) Infirmary. Her focus areas include alumni relations and community relations. Furthermore, the Student Affairs Department emphasizes collaborative student development. The President concluded, “The various changes that have occurred have led to the implementation of command modifications. This is just the preliminary content. We will expand upon this and meet with individual departments to rapidly adjust the processes. The “Director of the University Office” is responsible for connecting various parts to achieve work integration.”
From now on, we will meet frequently using various methods. We will certainly meet again in the future opportunities!!!
