CISDUS “Open House” Activity: China-ASEAN Business Intelligence Boot Camp Successfully Completed
On 25 through 26 March, Confucius Institute of Suan Dusit University at Suphanburi (CISDUS) co-sponsored with the International (China-ASEAN) Business Program of Suan Dusit University to hold an “Open House” activity of China-ASEAN Business Intelligence Boot Camp, offering for about 100 teachers and students a two-day real-life class to experience the Chinese culture and act out their business intelligence.
At 10:00 am, 25 March, Vice President of Suan Dusit University and member of the CISDUS’s board of directors, Dr. Waranee Vessoontorntep announced to open the Camp. The other two Vice Presidents of Suan Dusit University and members of the CISDUS’s board of directors present, Assoc. Prof. Pacharee Suankaew and Dr. Pornchanit Kaew-nate have addressed respectively, calling on the campers to learn Chinese well and try to make themselves top talents in promoting the economic and trade relations between China and the ASEAN. During the Camp, experts’ lectures, business skills practice and artistic performances would be presented one after another, and the campers would be divided into groups and each group should show their final achievements at the end.
At 1:00 pm, 26 March, the China-ASEAN Business Boot Camp successfully concluded, with the Chinese director of the CISDUS, Mr. Qiu Zongfeng signing a certificate for every camper. Many of the campers have expressed their gratitude for such a camp, calling it a platform to learn both the Chinese language and culture and a source of confidence in learning Chinese well and promoting a healthy development of economic and trade relations between China and Thailand.
