Royal Graduation Ceremony for Suan Dusit University Graduates, 2024 (Academic Year 2022)

On September 26, 2024, at 10:30 AM, His Majesty the King graciously appointed Mr. Kasem Wattanachai, Privy Councillor, as his representative to attend the Sirivorapanya Auditorium at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Nakhon Pathom Province. He presided over the royal graduation ceremony for 965 graduates from Suan Dusit University for the year 2024 (academic year 2022), including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Additionally, an honorary Doctor of Education degree was awarded to Professor Dr. Anek Laothamatas, a member of the Royal Institute in the field of Social Sciences, specializing in Political Science and Public Administration, and former Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.

In this event, Dr. Tanom Intarakamnerd, President of Suan Dusit University Council, reported on the university’s operations, and Assistant Professor Dr. Pitauk Chancharoen, Acting President of Suan Dusit University, presented the graduates to receive their degrees. The ceremony was attended by university executives, faculty members, staff, and students, who also participated as committee members in various roles during the ceremony.

Suan Dusit University has been preparing for changes and strengthening its foundation by reviewing its strategic direction. This includes promoting the university’s unique identity to the public, enhancing and expanding collaborations in all dimensions with network partners from both the public and private sectors. The university aims to become a comprehensive learning center with strong academic standards. Every area of the university is being developed into a learning space without time constraints, named the SDU One World Library (OWL). This initiative aims to provide a learning resource and promote digital skills and essential knowledge for the future among students. Additionally, it includes teaching related to Generative AI to prepare graduates with the necessary skills for the modern world and to adapt to changes in the digital era.
