The Office of the Registrar at Suan Dusit University, Suphanburi Campus, hosted a Curriculum Development Workshop and organized the project “Curriculum Development and Improvement for the Academic Year 2025,” led by the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The workshop focused on “Preparation of Course Details (SDU.OBE2) and Alignment of Learning Outcomes (PLOs, YLOs, CLOS).”

Suan Dusit University Suphan Buri Campus held a curriculum development workshop on June 6-7, 2024, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of its academic programs. The workshop was attended by faculty members from various disciplines and focused on the Backward Curriculum Design (BCD) approach. The workshop commenced with an opening ceremony presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirote Pholpuntin, President of Suan Dusit University. In his address, the President emphasized the importance of continuous curriculum development to ensure that graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for success in the 21st century.

Presentations and Discussions

Dr.Suwamarn Moungprasert, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presented an overview of the project and its objectives. Following this, a team of experts from Srinakharinwirote University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Benjamas Wongsatayanon, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthirat Pheerapan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chantana Mekhsipraradh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Wongthai, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphawan Sajapibul, delivered presentations on the BCD approach and its application in curriculum design.

Workshop Activities

Participants engaged in a series of workshop activities, including group discussions and hands-on exercises, to apply the BCD principles to the development of specific courses. These activities provided participants with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the BCD approach and its practical applications.
